HiyangExpress is operated by Epanath Innovations Private Limited. This policy explains, at a high level, the information used to provide HiyangExpress customer, rider and delivery services.
Information we may collect
Depending on how you use HiyangExpress, information may include your name, phone number, email address, pickup and drop addresses, order details, delivery status, rider information, foreground location used for delivery operations, device or push-notification identifiers, payment or COD records, delivery proof, account-deletion requests and support communications.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate accounts, provide and manage deliveries, determine serviceability and pricing, assign and support riders, show order status, send service notifications, maintain payment and COD records, prevent abuse or fraud, respond to support requests, process account deletion and comply with legal obligations.
Location information
Location data may be used where required for map selection, serviceability, rider operations and delivery progress. Rider location is intended for operational use while the rider is online or working.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be processed by service providers used for hosting, maps, messaging, push notifications, payment-related services and other operational functions. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to protect users, the service or legal rights.
Retention
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for service delivery, security, financial records, disputes, safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance and other legitimate operational purposes. Some records may remain after an account deletion request where retention is required or justified for these purposes.
Account deletion
Customers and riders can start an account deletion request from the public Account Deletion page. Requests are authenticated before submission. Certain records may be deleted, anonymized or retained depending on their purpose and legal or operational requirements.
Security
HiyangExpress uses technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service, but no internet or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Never share passwords, OTPs or authentication tokens with support.
